Standard current output torque sensor signal conditioning and corrective
Industrial applications of the torque sensor is now no longer strange. Torque sensor traditional 4 ~ 20mA calibration requires special jigs, special laser or manual resistor adjustment which affect each other, you need a test, adjust, test, re-adjustment process, adjusting the number and scope limited. Electronic devices and torque sensors to adjust it is not convenient enough.
Today, the digital correction torque sensor 4 ~ 20mA, which allows electronic devices and the torque sensor to be adjusted after packaging; be calculated by computer to simplify the correction coefficient value adjustment; can have an unlimited number of adjustments, and has good resolution and less a wide range of adjustment; adjustment process does not affect each other; electronic devices and the torque sensor can be easily adjusted. At present, many manufacturers also offer a digital correction of bridge sensor solution that is designed to bridge the pressure sensor design programmable analog signal conditioners. It simulates amp tones sensing signal and provides full-scale voltage of the voltage and digital correction, by avoiding manual adjustments to obtain long-term stability of the output voltage signal into 4 ~ 20mA output.
Standard 4 ~ 20mA current loop in the structure consists of two parts namely transmitter and a receiver, the transmitter typically located on-site side, sensor side or module end, while the receiver general of the PLC and the computer side, it is usually in the controller inside. 4 ~ 20mA two-wire circuit applications, the operating power and signal wires shared a working power supply provided by the receiver. In order to avoid the 50/60Hz frequency interference, the use of current to transmit signals. Wire programs need to consider the main issues: determining the number used by the receiver, when there are multiple receivers, it requires the transmitter has a low operating supply voltage. Another consideration is to reduce the loop current drop at the receiving end. Today, the market has been used to simulate the signal transmission precision voltage - current converter, which can be 0 ~ 5V or 0 ~ 10V input voltage directly converted into 4 ~ 20mA, 0 ~ 20mA, 5 ~ 25mA output signal. So easy to see now, the torque sensor signal conditioning and correct what is no longer difficult thing, more aspects of the torque sensor technologies will have a better approach.
